Our Background
How We Got Here
I have been using Finale music writing software since the early 90s. In fact, I did a Graduate project using Finale when I arranged a suite for clarinet choir for Wright State University. Shortly after I graduated from college, I got my first "professional" music engraving with E.B. Marks. I learned a lot doing that project. After that I accepted jobs from various clients that were self-publishing and received some jobs from the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ohio Valley British Brass Band. In 2001, I accepted a job with the Lorenz Music Publishing Company as a music engraver and was there for 13 years. While there I developed more skills and an 'eye' as a music typesetter learning such skills as placement of items on the page, score layout, and preparing a printable file format.  In 2013, I became a self-employed music engraver working with major music publishing companies such as Boosey and Hawkes, Hal Leonard, Lorenz Publishing Company and Shawnee Press.
Our Services
Here’s What We Provide
All sheet music is carefully prepared using Finale Notation Software. Accuracy is absolutely guaranteed therefore any typesetters mistakes present in the final product will be corrected at no additional charge. Rewrites or numerous changes will be charged an additional fee. If working with a music publisher, I will adhere to your specific house-style guidelines.
During the duration of the project, I will be in contact via telephone and/or e-mail in case I have any questions regarding the final product.

Rates are based on finished project per-page fees, not the original music sent in. The reason for this is due to the large discrepancy in the size of different people's handwriting or font used in computer-generated manuscript. Therefore, basing the price on the finished product is the fairest practice for both my customers and myself.

Payment (I accept cashier's checks, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal) is due at the first proof of the project. Unless requested otherwise, the completed project will be e-mailed to you as both PDF and (upon request) Finale files after payment has been received.
